Tabula Mortis

I made another weird little game add-on for you.

It's filled with a dozen random tables that detail horrific scenes of murder, mayhem, and death.

You'll love it. It's right up your alley.

How Did This Happen?

Game Jams fill me with hope and inspire me to create. I tripped across Table Jam 26 and I started thinking about what I could make with random tables. Concurrently I started looking for art on Wikimedia Commons. I found some lovely etchings of skeletons, and I gravitated toward doing something about death.

But what specifically about death would a GM find useful?

I thought about what I might want to see as a GM. What would I need to randomly generate in a hurry? And I thought about how often my players tripped across a scene of violence and destruction. How many types of details could I fit into a single-page trifold zine?

So I got to work. I wanted enough meat to detail the scene of a death, whether murder, accident, animal attack, misdirected passion, or intentional sacrifice. I dipped into my misspent years of watching CSI, but I stopped short of really specific forensic details. I decided to stick with generalities to allow specific details across a variety of genres.

Go download a copy and let me know how it works for you. If you can spare a few bucks, I'd love a little income from this. Honestly, reviews are probably slightly more important to me at the moment. So yeah, go rate and review it if you have the spoons available.

I want to print some physical copies, but I still need to revamp my storefront. I'll move it up on my list of Stuff I Need To Deal With. Stay tuned.

Thank you for reading! Now get out there and make some carnage for your players.
