Bez "The Spider"

Bez grew up around woodworkers, learning all the tips and tricks his Elven mother could teach him. But Bez's human blood gave him a headstrong wanderlust that keeps driving him into the middle of some precarious situations, just like his father. His foolishness gets him into tough spots regularly, and his smarts and skills have gotten him out of all of them so far. He still says yes more often than he should, and he has a hard time forecasting the repercussions of his actions.

Bez hustled in his youth, taking any thievery job that came his way no matter how dangerous. He has thirty years' worth of stories, during which he earned the nickname "The Spider", but The Leftbridge Caper takes the cake. Bez worked for the rival Leftwell and Knightsbridge families, stealing treasures back and forth. At one point he stole the same jeweled dagger three times in one night. The City Guard caught Bez during these weeks of back and forth, until the two families realized they both hired the same thief and refused to press charges. The two families buried the hatchet after that and became fast friends.

He officially retired twenty years ago to repair ships and his shop The Sly Spider, but an endless stream of old friends and unfinished business keeps knocking on his door.
